  • University of Minnesota Farmer’s Market 200 Southeast Oak Street Minneapolis, MN, 55414 United States (map)

Join Coach Mary from Bike Anywhere at the UMN Farmer’s Market to get all your bicycling related questions answered. Come to learn the best bicycling routes into campus. Ask your questions about riding and not getting sweaty, where to ride with your kids, how to carry heavy loads, put your bike on the bus, about e-bikes or whatever your questions are. Register here.

University of Minnesota employees and medically covered spouses will receive a voucher at the market for 400 Wellbeing Points towards the 2023-2024 Wellbeing Program year for attending.

This class will include info on:

  • Selecting a bicycle, lock and basic gear

  • Rules of the road

  • The ABCs of a bicycle safety check

  • Picking a safe route for your comfort level. Class will focus on routes into and out of campus but also cover great places to ride in the Twin Cities.

Our goal is for you to leave the class feeling empowered to start bicycling to the University of Minnesota or whatever destination you have in mind. Folks new to bicycling and the bicycle curious, as well as avid cyclists welcome.

The event will take place at the University of Minnesota Farmer’s Market, 200 SE Oak St, Minneapolis, MN 55414
