Friday evening ride to explore fun, safe neighborhood routes to all your favorite businesses. The ride is to Mercado Central and back. We’ll stop for dinner at Mercado Central, where you can choose from awesome local Latino restaurants. Route is about 6 miles, at a slow, conversational pace. RSVP.

New, experienced, and infrequent bicyclists welcome. 

Schedule: 

• 5 - 6 pm, Pre-ride Q & A. Bike commuting tips & tune up at Perennial Cycle. Come with your questions and to learn from League Certified Instructor & Bike Anywhere Founder Mary Blitzer. 

• 6 - 8 pm, Bike ride! We’ll cruise through the neighborhood to Mercado Central, where you can choose from 10 different vendors (don’t forget your wallet). We’ll highlight neighborhood routes, parks, and access to Lake Street businesses along the way. 

All riders can enter to win prizes from the Uptown Community Coalition! 

Wear a helmet, bring a lock, wallet (for when we eat at Mercado Central), plus a water bottle and lights.
